A  GLANCE AT GRASS ROOT LEVEL
Farming is a Back Bone of Indian Economy. As we all know everything is related to Agro-based Industry. Today only when I have been to my Office one of my close colleague complimented me that “I’m looking very pretty in black kurta”. It’s all because of that Cotton kurta which I have worn which is ultimately the result of farmer’s blood-water efforts. They are the one who produces cotton and make cotton(raw material) available for those who wants to produce or weave clothes and turn that into final product after that it comes in a market. This is a small example which says how all aspects in our livelihood are more or less inter-related with Farming.

Lets just give a thought that each n every aspects of our life whether it beat our kitchen, beat our stylish clothing or beat our beautiful bed-sheet on our bed. Everywhere  there is a farmer’s hand behind it. Have we ever given a thought that how farmer’s live or how their lifestyle is….?
Now, we are sitting at the top notch let go to the grass root level an give it a reality check…!!

As we all know we live in a sophisticated place like Mumbai which is capital city of Maharashtra but unfortunately we live in a state where highest number of farmers committing suicide..First thing, Monsoon is not proper and secondly the policy which are legally on paper but not applied on ground reality and thirdly because of thriving class of middle man(they are the one who takes more than half share in pocket) which ultimately creates problem for the survival of farmers. Mostly the farming is done rural area where there is lack of Education that is they don’t have proper knowledge with regards to fertility of land, soil, pesticides etc. They are still going on in hereditary thoughts..

Similarly there are even good points which are related to farmers. They enjoy the life of village, fresh era of greenery, fresh green vegetables they get to eat which people in urban don’t get to enjoy these things. Even some of them own handsome amount of land..

“GOD ALSO HELP THEM WHO HELP THEMSELVES” So there should be some Awareness programmes conducted by NGO’S who can visit rural areas and motivate farmer’s, train them about seeds even the usage of pesticides(fertilizers),watershed facilities..
If we talk about any state in India., Monsoon is weak in some state because of Global warming..
So farmers should be aware of Rain water harvesting, They can also tackle solar energy which gives solar lights which ultimately gives Source of Entertainment which can make farmers feel fresh and they will be more focused. They can even use Solar Cooker which can simultaneously helps women to cook food easily and save time. The women who are underestimated those women can work as an employment for their family..

So let’s come towards Conclusion. We understand that there are lot of problems but all problems come with their own solution and its upon us how we can find solution..#CREATE AWARENESS# is the best solution..
